Electronic music innovator DJ Pöschi is captivating listeners with the release of his album Romantik Rock Vol 1 on the 1st January 2026. From his early days experimenting with an electronic organ at the end of the 1980s, DJ Pöschi has forged a unique path in music production. After completing organ courses, he delved into PC-based creation using software such as eJay, Magix Music Maker and Cubase, crafting all his tracks entirely himself. Despite a setback from a stroke that temporarily halted his work with these programmes, DJ Pöschi rediscovered his creative spark just 3-4 months ago through the introduction of Suno by friends. This tool allowed him to bring his musical visions to life once more, leading to the open-ended style that defines his work, spanning instrumental, orchestral elements, and even vocal or choral support.
Romantik Rock Vol 1 stands out for its variety, where not everything sounds uniform like Neue Deutsche Welle. Instead, DJ Pöschi lets individual instruments shine depending on the idea, whether wind instruments, violins, pianos, drums or others, all produced exclusively on his PC. The album marks a new chapter following the success of his individual track releases.
The artist name DJ Pöschi itself carries a personal story, originating from a former supervisor who shortened his surname Pöschmann to Pöschi for simplicity, a nickname that has stuck ever since. In recent months, DJ Pöschi has been showcasing his music on two internet radio stations, garnering consistently positive feedback that underscores the emotional resonance of his compositions.
